Characteristics of a successful entrepreneur
A VC: VC Cliché of the WeekHere are the characteristics that I find most commonly in great entrepreneurs:I really identify with Fred Wilson's list on the characteristics he finds most commonly with successful entrepreneurs. I would also add some eccentricity and a risk taking personality. Effectively entrepreneurship is in a way a really on-the-edge risk management. The one skill I value most highly in my current role (as a change agent within a larger company) is the ability to rapidly mediate between the market and the product teams. Also read the comments from Dave mcclure in Fred Wilson's post.
